Vid, great!!! 9 fold symmetry maintained well. Colors are a bit dull. Neat drawing. U tlod us not to add any extra thing than the original... but u broke the rule by putting stencil here and there.

Vidhya - you make your rules and you break them?? Well I suppose rules are made to be broken - right?? (just joking).. You have given a different flavour to the entire kolam by changing it here and there and in the process giving us a new design. I personally feel that you should have used the same pink for the outside lotus flowers instead of the dull orange - it would have made your kolam look more brighter. I just love that little flower stencil in the centre - it looks so pretty :)
Reproduced quite well Vidhya. This has come out neat and beautiful. I too agree with Judy with the outer colouring but your real efforts gave you good result:) (No ji please, only brindha, ok :))

Hey hey Judy!! I thought of using pink but was in scarcity of pink col powder :-s adan.. tappu paniten tapu panitennn (Kadala kadala movie la MSV style la padikavum!).. Venumna same kolam with pink lotus pottu tirumba upload pandren.. hehe (doorathula oru kootama neengalam ennai virattikitu varradu teriyudu hehe!)

Beautifully drawn and colored Vidhya! Good placement of 9 elements in every layer. Is that blue color I see around the center flower? The white center flower looks very nice, probably the best from your stencil collection, so far. :) I'm glad you'd hinted about using the stencils when you'd mentioned the rules. Periya killadi neenga! :)
I too appreciate your enthusiasm in encouraging others to join you Vidhya. I had wanted to make it too, but what to do, I had to keep my kids engaged with their activities since it is their summer vacation. :)
You've succeeded in not only making a pretty rangoli out of Suganthi's design, but also in highlighting Pushpa's rowdy avatar, which had been hiding all this time. :0

Vidhyaji, very nicely done. The colors are very mild and looks pleasing. Thank u vidhyaji. It's because of u we can see so many kolams with this quilling pattern. I too wanted to make it. But vacation here kids r taking all my time. i will make it some other time n will post it.

Come out very well. But not as bright as you. As the background is also of light shade, litter darker shades would have turned the kolam very bright like you. Thanks.
