Thank you all for the nice comments. My sister Jayacalled me over the phone and said 'Put ther kolam for 10th Rathasapthami. I am coming to see". So I put all my energy to surprise her with a big one.( Though I wish to put big big kolams, health does not permit me to sit for a long time... Sr citizen hai naa, isliye)My grand son Neel encouraged me by not spoiling it till now.

What a stunning Chariot for the occasion! How do you get your lines to be embossed when you're working with kolam powder? Tell me please.
Nice to know that you were also encouraged by your sister. It is more motivating when you have motivating family members. I also admired the chikku kolam at the center.
Color combination and the size of this huge master piece is amazing! Thank you so much.

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Lata, I have used approximately 200 grams of nylon kolam powder mixed with 2 teaspoonful of rice powder. The embossed effect may be due to this mixing. This chariot is 4 x 3 feet dimension. Since drawn in the Hall inside the house, i have to restrict the area. The dots have to be put very close and hence drawing the lines took more time. ( All of you know that if the dots are kept apart drawing lines around them is easy. but not when kept close).I have drawn thin lines only, so it is not that bright.
Anirudh, after seeing your Terrece-fort kolam only I got the inspiration to draw a big kolam. I ll be too happy to see your Ther kolam on the terrece.
Judy, Yes Jaya did come and gave her comments in person.( why Lata didnot upload her Ther kolam?)Over the phone only she suggested to put the orange sun in the centre. I am happy that all of you liked it.
