About Rangoli Design from an old Currency note : PRINT
My hubby is in the hobby of old currency notes collection. When he showed me the scan of one of the notes which his friend was having, I told him that this looks like a Rangoli design. He started making fun of me saying that always your mind is occupied with kolams and rangoli designs (same like him, always occupied with old currency notes).

I agree with you. In everything I also see kolam designs only. Which country currency is this. Lovely design.

Rajam mam, this currency was used in Qatar & Dubai in earlier days. The upload of mine is from a note issued in 1961 by Qatar & Dubai Currency Board (50 Riyals).

JKM sir, I have already this question. This currency was issued by Qatar & Dubai Currency Board in 1961. It was in circulation both in Qatar and Dubai. This is a common currency used in these two countries (Dubai was seperate state by itself before formation of UAE country).
