There is no reason to miss on seeing those kolams. "Festival" option for the slideshow has been shown as one of the main catagories, just as "freehand" or "dotted", among others. So, during festivals, obviously "Festival" category would be kept busy, apart from "freehand" and "dotted". We usually see a surge in the number of members and rangolis during margazhi/pongal season, and so the facility to use the festival option both in the slideshow, as well as the thumbnail on the front page.
