Why do you include the phrase "not good" in all of the pongal kolams that you've uploaded? Please take another look at this one, is it not good? This is one of the best! Nice gray border around the white strokes. It looks natural and would be nice to know how it got there.

Ignore the last part of my comment, I think I know how this gets a gray border. Looks like the kolam was made on a wet floor, and the wetness around the edges tends to look like a gray border.

beautifully drawn traditional padikolam, Lotus has come out well, the strokes are perfect, always think in a positive way.

nice, very traditional....the excess water (from maavu?) has spread the grey border making it tricolored....very good, thanks for sharing

all sisters, first i said thanks for comments in my street kolam. first time i am upload the pictures(kolam). so i don't know display the title "pongal kolam 2010 in our street, this year all kolam was fair. not good". please forgive me. thanks for compliment. i said all ur comments shared my neighbours (antha antha kolam-thukuriya comments antha pottavangakitta i tell). They are happy her kolam view on net.Once again all sisters forgive my title comments.
