About paDikOlam - 39 - paDikOlam as chikku kOlam : PRINT
A single line 3x4 sOnA pattern was drawn with an extension on one side of the three-dot row. This was distorted into a triangular form and four of these are combined to form a square with two lines. This square was further rotated by 45 deg. A small filler at the centre and lamps on all the four sides were added to obtain the present pattern (May 27). Even though the patterns are quite different, the inspiration for this one, however, was Mrs subhAshiNI's recent pattern. Enjoy!

When I saw Suba's kolam I commented that it reminds your kolam. Now you have got inspired with her version and drawn this. Suba, I think you will be the Happiest person today!

Very pretty padi kolam, JKM sir. Tempts me to try... but that tapering effect will require very careful placing of dots!!
