Jayanthy, is it any photographic trick? In the front portion it looks like quilling work!!!. Ver nice and neat padikolam.

Though the photo is not clear, the kolam looks neat and cute with star, shank and chakra in the center.

The photo effect is making it look like a silver tray to me. Very neat work - I love the shape of the lotus flowers they are very neat
