Our Golu 2010 - Balaji Residence
About Our Golu 2010 - Balaji Residence : PRINT
Hi Ladies,
I would like to share some pictures from my Golu 2010. I live in Michigan, USA and this is my 12th year celebrating this wonderful festival. I statrted out with 3 steps and by the grace of ambal, Lakshmi and Saraswathi this year we kept 11 steps. We couldn't get any new doll from India this year. So we made Anusaya set with clay and painted it (3rd step from bottom). We had so much fun making temple, Meenakshi amman and the theppa kulam.
Thank you
Shobana Balaji.
Kavya and Ananiya Balaji.

Welcome to ikolam!
This is such a beautiful and elaborately arranged golu. I'm glad you've taken the time to upload separate pictures of the Ganesha rangoli, Durga Maa, and another statue as well. Thank you for sharing your artistic works here with all of us.

Wow this surely is a lovely arrangement - very neatly displayed. I loved your toddler Ganesha rangoli very much... Did you take all these dolls from India?? Can we also have a closer look at those goddess dolls at the bottom?? They look interesting.

Lovely Golu. very interesting to see the different decorations made. Why u this entry was not sent for the contest. ? The Theppakkulam and the rangoli under the glass table need to be seen seperately to enjoy more.On the whole a very good display.l
