About Origami Rangolis : PRINT
I was trying to fold some Kusudama models in Origami and suddenly felt basemodel looks like the squarey kolam base structure. So took the picture of it. Folded another complicated octogonal design and that too was a good competitor..thus evolved origami rangolis....the base paper is just a single square piece, used my color printer as-usual 
The main credit goes to origami designer "Kasahara Kunihiko". More designs on the way.

anirudh avare, chennagidhe chennagidhe nimma origami rangoli thumba chennagidhe can you remember this dailogue in one of the old kids film in kannada. thanks for sharing this.

Nice projections of actual 3-d origami objects! This is something I have not yet done even thouh I have a Japanese book with me.

What a lovely collection of pretty designs Anirudh... Each one has a separate design and colour combination - the first and last are my favourites
