Asha ma'am thank you... I am sure with rajamma ma'am's guidance you will excel in maa kolam... I was so bad a month ago... but i started practicing on a daily basis and have to some extent become a little more comfortable than I was ... I am sure I will get to see better ones than mine from you in the near future... all the best... you can see my maa kolam section on the consistency ... instructions provided by our rajamma ma'am and Judy ma'am... thank you subashini ma'am and rajamma ma'am for your comments.

I am not an expert on wet flour patterns, in fact expert on nothing! But this is beautiful. Do you know what I like in this most, a certain amount of rustic and folk nature.

Asha, so glad to know that ur trying maa kolam. Soak raw rice and gring it nicely.make it as thick like a fresh milk which can flow easily.use cotton cloth to dip inside the batter. and make small designs first. And take the poto after the kolam is dried fully.all the best.
