Dotted kolam looks good inside the well defined border. Maybe, the circles, and the flowers could have used another coat of kaavi too (just my thought).

Madhuraji, very nice maakkolam. yes u could have used Kaavi for innner design also. Neat and clean work.

I too thought kavi line for the inner square would have added beauty to this neat and lovely kolam...
