Water lilies, at a pond next to the Bibi ka maqbara (Tomb of the Lady), aka poor man's Taj.
It is situated in the city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Bibi Ka Maqbara is built by Prince Azam Shah (son of Emperor Aurangzeb) in the late 17th century as a loving tribute to his mother, Dilras Bano Begam.

Flower experts, please help me. Would I be correct to tag this picture as water lilies, or am I confused? The leaves are lily pads, correct?
(Sometimes, I get confused for simple things)
Btw, has anyone been to Poor man's Taj?

Looks like water lilies to me!
It is not only poor man's tAj, it is a poor tAj!
Like the story where the fox wanted to have tiger's stripes and ... you know the rest
of the story

In Tamil it is KUMUDAM malar... remember the Magazine Kumudam?
