Looking at the time stamp in this comment, I can't stop laughing! Are you doing any thing other than "computers" and "floor rangolis" at home nowadays? I think I should get in touch with Pavan to find out more. How about shopping, reading books, watching TV? Do you know "FUN"?
Lata My self and bharathi not interested in shopping, and watching T V..ofcourse we read books.every thursday in bharathi's house sai Bhajan will take place and some speech also..so we discus about this thats all.and next job kolam only....
Oh! Neengalaam Sai devotees-aa!
My father-in-law takes pride in the fact that my husband started his formal schooling after some assistance (aksharabhyas) from Saibaba himself in Puttaparthi! Some of his close relatives are Bal Vikas teachers/ Sai volunteers.
We used to attend Sai bhajans here every Sunday until a few years ago. We used to follow both Bal Vikas as well as Bal Vihar procedures/functions. Nowadays, just one path is doable for us!
Lata, yes Bharathi also balavikas teacher.and we use to give food for poor people every month 23rd in our colony.this is called narayana seva. And every month 1st sunday early morning they do bhajans round our colony, this is called nagara sankeerthana. In the evening times iam busy so iam not attending bhajans. but we both sit and prepare for speech.Bharathi is giving speech there.
I've had a chance to participate in Nagara Sankeerthana in Thanjavur a few years back, during a visit. It was a good experience! I miss those things here!
On some sundays, we (volunteers) prepare food (snacks) for Bal vihar students/parents as a fund-raising activity, mainly for important Bal vihar activities. It is nice to participate in whatever way we can.
