Excellent kolam. If the background is of little darker shade, it would have been more beaautiful. But its a very neat and good work. Symmetry and the 8 lines strokes are perfect.
Wow such a neat and beautiful maakolam... I love your thin strokes here... ya kaavi would have added beauty to this kolam but even I am aware, even in my in-laws house they dont use kaavi during functions, I dont know the significance though, cos I hv seen in some functions they use kaavi... my enquire regarding this yielded only an answer that in chennai people use kaavi whereas elsewhere they dont... dont know how far this is true... would love to know if there is any other reason though... maam you hv drawn this very artistically and beautifully... pls post more of such traditional kolams
Aichu a very neatly executed job - the flow looks excellent.. I think they did not allow you to put kaavi because they were afraid that it might stain the floor (right??).. The second row (from the centre) of semi-circles you have put a dot in the centre of one of the curves on the top left and forgot to put that dot for the remaining three curves...
aichu kolam super ayswarya. u have made to look at difference in the kolam only one side in the middle u have put a single round. all the other three sides forgot to put the round . nice design. thin lines and very beautiful.

Welcome to ikolam!
The kolam looks very nice, and you've chosen a pretty design to make it for the occasion.
