Very beautifully done Brindha mam. The pallakku design looks so cute. Why did u close the pallakku with the screen? We could have seen the Queen sitting inside.

The filigree work in this aplona pananquin is stunning Brindha. Hardly half an hour ago I emailed you that I am missing your kolams, and here a sheer visual treat was waiting for me. What perfection in the intricate designing and detailing. Truly, you are blessed indeed... Thanks a ton..

very bright alpona.
I learn that alpona is done using zinc oxide.
Please let me know what powder you have used to
create this kolam. Is it zinc oxide or otherwise

This is made with normal kolapodi only. Bengalis make alpana with rice paste as we do maakolam.

How I missed this beauty!
Brindha, Vasanthi madam's alpana kolam had this one as similar kolam and I just clicked and what a wonderful work u have presented to all of us on the women's day.I am just admiring the way the minute details were drawn by you so neatly and elegantly. Hats off to u.
