About Indian Republic Day : PRINT

My hearty wishes for a Happy Republic Day of our great nation. I tried to depict some of Our National Symbols within the tricolour. I did this with freehand. My hubby helped me in designing this Rangoli.

Very good, it was thoughtful of you to place the peacock
in the middle. The peacock (nIlakaMTha) is blue occupying
the blue centre. By the way, in our days, the lion was the
national animal. The reason for the change was at that time
there were more tigers than lions (perhaps even now) in
India. So the government felt the tiger will be more
representative. I even wrote a letter to the Hindu telling
that if the argument is stretched, the crow will be India's
national bird!

Of course, you have a holiday on Jan 26. We have work to do Wink
Thanks for sharing and regards!
