Wow! This is such a massive piece! So many different elements...I wish you had left Sashank's hand-print intact :)
Nice choice of colors Sahana.
Wish you, Jayashree, Sahana, Ssshank and your family members a happy Pongal!
Lata , thanks for uploading this.Sashank took the rangoli powder bottle cover and with that made so many rounds here and there, (one is on the milk) can you make out Other rounds made by him?we had good fun making this yesterday
Oh this is fun playing...I think I see one over the coconut, one on the lady's blouse, there is one on the tree trunk, and one on the lady's face which has been worked with...let me know which ones I missed (horns?).
thank you auntie.paati actually got the idea from my tamil school textbook. paati took almost one whole afternoon to do this.i am going to send two of my rangolis drawn on paper.I have no time to draw on the floor because i have got school.
Your paati is both creative as well as so innovative Sahana! Do you know that you have a new fan who was totally awe-struck looking at your collections in your folder? She is a 10yr old girl named Diya. She is my very own Diya...I had named her after my most favorite festival-Diwali. She is going to start putting in some of her creative work that she had done in the last couple of years. She was kind of upset because I had been so busy uploading everyone else's things, that I completely forgot to put anything that belongs to her (pictures in her folder are the ones she made when she was in preschool or in Kindergarten) :(
I look forward to your rangolis Sahana. And, paper art work is fine with all of us.
Rajamma madam, You have covered everything in this rangoli for pongal, its really great .. as Sahana putin, you should have taught more before doing this. Good to see and I am thinking how Sahana felt once you complted it.... Pass on our apprciation to Sahana 's & her mother.
