About Ganesh Chathurthi 2011 : PRINT
I wish all I-Kolam members a very happy Ganesh Chathurthi. May Lord Ganesha (Aadi moola kadavul) shower his blessings to all of us.
This is the kolam that I made for Ganesh chathurthi. This is my last kolam on this lovely red tiled floor, as we are moving to a new apartment. I'm not sure whether I'll be able / allowed to make kolams on the entrance floor in the new house. Still I'll be in touch with you all atleast through the commenting section. I'll try to make kolams through some other medium like BB etc.... Otherwise I'll try to practise PC kolams and upload it for you.

Maha, beautiful maakolam. Iam sure, Maha, you will have alternative to show your creations. Don't worry, If one door closes, God will show a way to other door. Hehehe, you may get beautiful floor than this surely.

Beautiful padi kolam and different way of extending in the corners. Dont worry Maha, always there will be a solution to each and every problem, and through that we are goint to invent some new things. Who knows you may get a better place and idea there. All the best.

Super Geometric kolam maha.. Definitely maha u will have some or the other alternative & for persons like us creativity never ends & we cannot supress the creativity within us; am i correct maha.. U will definitely draw more kolams & we all will be eagerly awaiting for ur new innovations...

beautiful beautiful maha....what a wonderful creation dear...as nithya mam said you don't worry pa...you will get a base better than this...Believe in God dear......this gift was given only by him..He will not just leave like that. u were telling that you will try to convince your maid to come with you to take care of your child...has she agreed pa..????

Wow...maha...awesome makolam done so neatly pa....so sad we r going to miss this lovely floor.....but i am confident that u'll get an even more lovelier floor than this in ur new home....but pl don't give up doing kolams ...atlest inside ur house u can try na....btw hope u'll like a similar pattern done by me last yr.... http://www.ikolam.com/node/15098?p=11788

Oh Maha, as much as I am happy to see this wonderful maakolam, i am sad that i wont get to see ur beautiful works on this floor any more but I am sure u will give us treats in the form of indoor or BB kolams dear.

Superb kolam Maha...you have done it so perfectly....Dont worry you will get and will find some way of doing kolams as I know you have a good creativity and will use the available resources to create the magic...so hoping to see a new kolam on your new floor or other space...Best wishes for your new house Maha.

Thanks a lot my dear friends - Nithya, Suguna, Uma, Santhi, Padma, Deepa, Seetha, Vasanthi, Ananthi, Rani, Pushpa & Sowmya - for your encouraging comments and your positive hopes on me. For sure, it will try to make kolams through some other medium.
@ Rani - I just saw your kolam through the link provided by you and yes it looks similar. It looks so pretty with kaavi decoration dear. I got this design from net browsing pa. Moreover the source kolam that I'm referring too was also made on the red tiled floor as mine.
@ Vasanthi - Thanks for remembering our conversation. Atlast she made her mind to come with us to Dubai but I'm not too sure how long she will be with us. Incase if she is not coming, i'll have to arrange for another maid.
