Ganapati rangoli
About Ganapati rangoli : PRINT
This was the first ever rangoli made by me, from Rice grains. Its a ganesha surrounded by a flower. My friend saw this rangoli and asked me to make hers around the havan kund. Hope you all like it!

Oh, so this was your starter rangoli! It is elegant, beautiful, and Ganesha looks very pleased to be seated on such a comfortable place. Thank you for sharing your artistic work with all of us.

To start with a Ganesha rangoli it self is a good sign. Ganesha looks very happy sitting in your Malar(flower) Simhaasan. Nice coloring. Can we expect more such work from you?

Thanks again for the compliments and encouragement everyone! I used liquid food colours for the rice; all you have to do is take 1 kilogram of rice, add about 3 drops of food colour and mix it in with about 3 to 5 drops of water in order to spread the colour evenly (depending on how dark you want the colour ofcourse). I will try to make another rangoli soon, haven't done it in a while. I'll surely post it!

a very pleasingly coloured Ganesha. Maybe you should have used some strokes for a little detailing like the folds of the cloth and his trunk etc which would have made this more complete - just a humble suggestion from me

your friends idea worked.
But u must have used same color for all petals.. so that it might have distinguished the flower and ganesha.. Now everything got mixed up.
To highlight some thing background should be kept calm.. i.e; your flower should be same color in all petals..
this elegants the main picture in middle, thats our ganesha.
Hope u understood what i said and try fro the next time.
