Beautiful kolam Marees. The design looks very pretty and symmetric with good shading. Why cant you try out all your design on the floor using kola podi.

Really a different kind of rangoli, Marees. Very nice all in black.
I also wanted to let you know that today I had published one of your rangoli images that was already published a few days ago. Taking a closer look into your account, I saw that there were atleast 3 extra rangolis which are repeat designs (waiting in the queue to be published). I deleted the first upload and fished for a fresh one from your list. It is hard for me to go back and forth in a member's gallery to find out if a certain design has been already published. Please take care while uploading images, and try to avoid repeats.

This is our Padma we're talking about. She is extremely good at taking things the right way. I haven't yet had a chance to meet her, but, from what I know about her through ikolam, she is a gem.
Now, please, jarugandi jarugandi to "upload rangoli" :0
(I'm sorry if my telugu is horrible. I remember hearing this word back from when I was only ten years old, in Tirupathi).

aagha signal kedachiduchu doy.....latha just last monday i went to Tirupathi and had a super darshan....so sad u haven't got d chance for so long....now-a-days its just a matter of 1 hr to get a glmpse of d lord....not like then when we had to wait for hrs and days...

I had a horrible experience Rani. Somehow I ended up with bloody lips from getting caught up in the crowd, when we were allowed through the gate (after waiting for 12 hours, some devotees broke open one of the gates). My grandma and I got separated from the rest of the family, and my grandma started screaming after seeing my bloody face. Frankly, I think I got scared of her screams more than my split up lips. :0
(I'm yet to get my courage back for visiting Tirupathy, so help me God).

Marees this is indeed a very pretty design except for the fact that the outside border is filled with different designs, which is a bit odd. The symmetry is lost there - if you had alternated only two designs this would have been a perfect design. Rani pootikku 'naan ready, neenga readyiaa'??
