Pretty design with simple coloring.. I too felt the same as Vinci maam regarding lamps at the corners

The central design is very pretty. Nicely coloured too. The placement of the outer lamps does not seem to be proper unless there is a special reason.

Thanks all for the kind words and also the well-meaning advice. My husband took this photo in the wrong alignment and I submitted in a hurry without flipping the photo. I will be very careful in the future :). This kolam, if flipped 90 degrees clockwise, will be viewed correctly. Sorry about this!

Nice work Anu - kolam looks quite neat and coloured well too - I see your point why all the lamps are facing in one direction but from the kolam point of view if the top row and the bottom row of lamps face each other it will be better. That's what everyone else meant
