FANTASTIC! Great work!! I am thrilled. I am following cricket since Jan 1956 when New Zealand played the fifth test in Madras. In that test, Mankad and Roy established a world record for the opening partnership, which was broken only a few years ago. In fact, Sehwag and Dravid came very near to beating it in Pakistan. But they were not even aware of it. Sehwag asked "Who is Mankad?" Mankad was the best all-rounder before Kapil Dev and Ian Botham.

We know everybody are crazy and encourage cricket, but why we do not give so much importance to our national game hockey. There are much good players in hockey and if we give this much encouragement to our hockey players, it will be great know. (just my opinion, please do not mistake my words).

Sudha very nicely done dear, apt for the situation. Yes I too agree with Vasanthi, hockey is not given enough importance but if u see for that matter many sports are not being given the importance except cricket. Hope this changes in the coming years.

Lovely rangoli for this cricket season, Sudha. I wish all the best to the Indian team. My thoughts also run parallel to those of Vasanthi & Pushpa..... there are also many other games in which we are good at. But these do not receive as much recognition or encouragement that cricket does. Hope this situation changes for the better, soon...

FRENZ , INDIA HAS WON THE WORLD CUP. I HAD LOST HOPE WHEN WE LOST 2 WICKETS FOR 31.
TODAY I WANT TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE ABOUT THIS KOLAM. ON THE VERY FIRST DAY WHEN I SAW THIS LOGO I DECIDED TO DRAW. I DREW THIS FOR AN APT SITUATION WHEN INDIA BEAT AUSSIES. I HAD COMPLETED THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE KOLAM WITH EASE, AT THAT TIME VIVEK AND VINEETH CAME FROM SCHOOL I WENT TO MAKE THE SNACKS FOR THEM, WHILE DOING SO I BURNT MY RIGHT THUMB,FOREFINGER AND THE MIDDLE FINGER. I COMPLETED THE LEFT SIDE WITH GREAT PAIN AND I COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY. EVEN TODAY THE LOGO IS LYING IN THE ROOM WITHOUT ANY HINDRANCE.
