After all the alangaarams the lamp is placed at the centre of the kalam along with other lamps. This type of poojas vary and it is done in different ways. Some people do it with three lamps some with five ...We normally do it in this way by having five lamps surrounding the main lamp in which one becomes Ganapathy at the time of pooja.

it looks divine .Rangoli is very pretty and i know how fast these bhatji's does such a big rangoli.During the pooja we had at my in-laws place(mangalore) i saw them making different kolams for differnt pooja within fraction of moments with lovely dark colours .hATS OFF TO THEM
