I am a beginner and this is my first kolam for the site. I have used match stick to give an embossed appearance.Please do help me with your comments on my kolam so that I can correct and learn to make better kolams.

I'm glad you've shared your rangoli here. This is a good sized flower to try on this particular base. If you browse the site for a while, I'm sure you'll run into many ideas, and you would be able to find many tips to make use of.

Hai welcome.....lovely novel idea of using match stick(for d embossed effect) for a kolam...we had seen this type of demo in our chennai meet too....

Very nice.The technique is good.
Next time please see that the number of petals and and external free petals are same in number.That wii enhance the symmetry of the kolam.

Glad you have made your first kolam and I am sure you will not stop making more and more kolams for us to enjoy. Seeing this matchstick style I am reminded of Rasiga who did aishwarya kolam in the same style at the meet last weekend
