Hai to all...today is aadi puram...Aandal was born on this day and also here in most of d amman temples valaikappu function is done for d deity,,,we can donate as many as (dozens)glass bangles and d iyer will decorate d ambal as a heavily pregnent lady...the experience of d iyer shows in bringing out a slight tiredness and exhaustion on d ambal's face(really...u have to see it to believe it...)....

The depth and richness of this kolam is seen after kaavi is applied. Rani wonderful work in showing us the before and after make-up of your aadi puram kolam - well done
