A free hand rangoli specially made for IKOLAM site. I tried my level best to draw all the possible rangolis within it.

Wow Lakshmi! I don't have the words to express what I felt when I first saw it this morning.

Lata,i think all the credit should goes to ikolam, as the site realy making every one to creat new ideas/rangolis, this rangoli took about 3hrs y'day, i was realy tired..however ur comments made me to forget every thing now!!,started thinking for next new creation....

This is a real tribute to ikolam.com , its so innovative, colorful, symmetrical and yet it looks so simple. its like a collage of kolams ie. traditional and ethnic designs in a modern form.

i think these designs should be patented and later on published by ikolam for a yearly magazine or something. there is so much of creativity in these kolams and who knows this can be recognized by Guiness Records someday.

Lata madam u can use this kolam for ur news letter i think,i mean ikolam site have all type of rangolis,Lakshmi also drawn all rangolis with in it,its so innovative, colorful, and yet it looks so simple. what is ur views Lata??

Anaga, thank you for your sweet comments. For the seasonal newsletter, it has been ikolam's policy to show an animated kolam, and so, we find Lakshmi's special kolam to be too complex (animating that would certainly take a few days since there are many kolams inside the big one). But, I'm thinking of showcasing it in a better way...give me some time and I'll come up with an idea.

Hi Lata let me reaffirm that Education is not teaching but drawing out the best ones from the child and you have proved to be a BEST Teacher in drawing out the hidden talents from so many corners. And also ask Lakshmi to share her secrets of the job with reference to the saying that it takes 99% of perspiration and 1% of inspiration for achieveing ANYTHING.
