Advanced kolams
Here is another set of my kolams...
1. Rajamma's favourite set of kolams. Interlaced/inbetween dots 7 - 4
2. Gowri this one is for you (my all time favourite chikku kolams) Straight dots 11 - 1
3. This is another of my favourites too. Straight dots 9 - 1
4. Last but not least - Kalasa Kolam I put yesterday for Varalakshmi Vridha. It
was a two in one kolam because it is Amman Temple festival week in my area and
yesterday was 108 Paal Kudam (milk pot) day. 108 women will carry a pot of milk
decorated with neem leaves, smeared with saffron on their head from a given point
and come to the temple in a procession with the traditional urumi mela thaalam
(traditional instrument).. Interlaced/inbetween dots (Purni style) 1, 2, 3 then
continued by straignt dots 5, 9, 9, 7, 5, 7, 9, 11, 11, 9, 7, 5 - Purni waiting

You have a nice collection of kolams here, both for daily use, as well as for religious occasions. I like the 3rd one a lot.
Just a quick comment to let you know that I'm removing the first link that you'd posted in the description area, because it doesn't work. Other one, the one with all kinds of piercings, are a little too much for me. I am a wimp!

i think today, we are getting very good combo designs...
so nice, all are very different in their own sytle...i like all of them... but no.1, is looking something very special...thanks Judyji.

Anirudh thanks for your comments too - the 1st kolam is Rajamma's favourite set of interlaced dot kolams (7 - 4) - I think she has a collection of about 30 to 40 in that variety - not sure if all have been uploaded though...

Lakshmi 2000 - I have very clearly explained the dots in the description - dots for kolam 4 (straight dots) is mentioned from top to bottom...

Brindha - so nice to receive such comments from you too - I am no where near your perfection I think - you are too good where symmetry is concerned - need to take classes from you one of these days - but just tell me when it is convenient and I will drop in...

U totally rock, Judy ma'am.... I am very late to visit this combo, i suppose... But wont be late to try them out... I love the 3rd kolam a lot.... would give out a coloured version of it very soon....
