Margazhi dew drops Kolam contest - 2008-2009

This kolam is drawn with rice flour with 19-10 dots (Oodu pulli). On top of that colour powders are used. Just a small description about umbrella: Umbrella means (shade) "a screen used in hot to keep off the sun, and in others to bear off the rain; "a kind of broad fan or screen, commonly used by women to shelter them from rain; also a wooden frame, covered with cloth, to keep off the sun from a window." Its mainly used in all god utsavams to take ustasavars. So the umbrella has many possible uses.
