About Margazhi dew drops Kolam contest - 2008-2009 : PRINT
This is a pongal pots kolam and the dots are 17 dots (3 times) to 3, and the medium used is rice flour and colours mixed with rice flour.

Thank you lata madam... nothing special in the pongal ... made out of haldi and kolam maavu... came upon this site and always wanted to take part so my first posting for this site is this kolam.... With all the heavy competition and lovely kolams I dont even have the audacity to compete, it is just to take part in the contest... maybe a reason to be part of your group

While the rangoli looks quite nice, it is
difficult to identify them as pots as we normally
know them. Actually it is quite beautiful as an
abstract piece. The colouring has been quite apt
for that purpose. It suggests more than it reveals.
