Today is Triketai(kettai in tamil)....a lot of designs are done for pookalams....here is a very small one for the sixth day..Hope you all like this one too.

Beautiful pookalam for Trikettai. Is the marun colour flower is Rose / Dehalya / Kozhi kondai?

Beautiful poo kolams. All your onam kolams are very nice - i got to see some but could not comment at that time. The two shade of green is very nice.

Thank you maha(the maroon colour is the dark red rose petals), Rani, Uma, Suguna, Padma and veena(thanks for viewing my pookolams and glad you liked them.)..for your sweet comments....
The green coloured leaves I used in all my pookolams are of the Gulmohar tree. The double shade is because the top of the leaves are darker than the bottom of the leaves.(you can check this is true with most of the leaves)...this is because of the presence of more chloroplasts/chlorophyll which helps in photosynthesis.
