About Diwali Contest 2010 : PRINT
This is a wet maakolam with dot counts 11 x 11 and 5 x 2 on all four corners. I enjoyed making this and am happy that I could participate in the Diwali Contest. Hope you all enjoy viewing it.

Beautiful. I'm happy Pushpa that you have uploaded a Sikku kolam for the contest, I guess you're the only one to do so(haven't checked the whole list)Wonderful Drawing Style . The elongated chuzhis are maintained uniformly and nice coloring work.. Cute diyas and the corner decorated vilakku glows bright with your lovely strokes..

executing maa kolam in this close fasion is not so easy. excellent filling,good color,remembers me kashmiri silk saree pattern. All the best.

A very very special rangOli. The strokes, the colours, the dots, the lamps all add to the overall beauty. Symmetry too is well maintained. A great piece of art singing joyfully! This year, I decided not to grade anyone. pushpAjI, your enthusiasm and participation makes you already a winner in my opinion.

Nice neli kolam with mavu. colouring done nicely. I think the kolam is not so easy as it looks. The nelis are even and the elongated ones are looking very cute. All the best.

What can I say Pushpa, you're already an expert!
Look at all the slanted strokes done in rice paste, I don't see a single stray mark anywhere. Nice combination of magenta and green, and as usual pretty borders too.
