Pavana homa rangoli

This method of creating rangoli could be used for teaching kids. Rangoli using a spoon as a tool: 1. Spread powdered color with the help of a sieve on the floor in the shape of a circle - as seen in Figure 1. This makes a nice background for your flower rangoli which you would create on top of the circle. 2. Spoon in 1/4th of a spoon of any contrasting color of your choice on top of the circle, and press down gently with the back of a spoon, to make it look like a petal. You could add in more petals until you're done creating your flower - Figure 2, figure 3 You can also make rangolis of boats, trees, butterfly or a house on top of the background shown in Figure 1.
