There was a pooja at my friend's house and it was called Bhagvati Sevai. (They r basically keralites.) The decoration made Kuthu vilakku and the rangoli which they put for this pooja was extremely good. Cant resist uploading..

Thanks to thala for shifting this pic to main rangoli area.. thank u smart ladies for the feed back.. actually i chose two pics to upload i.e one is before pooja (this one) and other after pooja in which the lamp is completely filled with archana flowers.. You could see only the top portion of kuthu vilaku.. but i could not bring both in one photo since am not good at photoshop.. (last time husband helpd me in putting two kolams in one pic)..

Nice one! Normally this rangoli called 'Padmam' will be drawn by the men who perform the pooja. They use only kumkum, turmeric powder, green leaf powder and charcoal powder.
Vidhya you can easily combine the photos into one following Lata's tutorials.

You could either combine the pictures, or to save time, you could upload the "after" picture in the cafe area (we upload puja pictures without rangolis in the cafe area).
