Priya's Navarathri Golu 2014

My Gallery
I've tried to depict the three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi as the three Godesses Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati through my Triveni Sangam depiction. It shows the places where the rivers take birth and their journey to meet at Triveni Sangam at Allahabad. They represent mind, body and spirit and whenever there is a balance of all three, there will be salvation.

Amman has been decorated on a Thanjavur Vilakku and some of the items on "A forgotten childhood" are items that my sister and I have played with. Thanks for your comments. It makes all the efforts well worth it!
