An attempt to provide a serene atmosphere by creating spaces for Ganesha and Buddha at both sides of the Kolu. Have also created a small Rajasthani village scene by showing women milling grain, making baskets and churning curds, with two women fetching water at the backdrop! We also have a Rajasthani couple playing the tabla to a Maharani and men traveling on an elephant!

Navaratri Golu is always a fun event for my family. This time both my mother and mother-in-law were there so it was all the more fun. My daughter also stayed home all summer. So it was a big time summer project. Our Golu consists of the five main steps or 5 main padis with 2 side attractions.
