This is the rangoli made by me for a rangoli competition held here in Dubai... the theme was Navarathri and instructions were that only plant materials should be used to make the rangoli. (and i won the 1st prize for this)

this is the 2nd Margazhi Kolam that i'm uploading (done on consecutive days as it was the weekend...) hope u ppl like it (i know the colouring is not proper...coz i was running out of colours so coloured very scantily)
After a long time i'm uploading a rangoli. Has to be coz it is Margazhi... for a change the dots are even numbered...it is 12(twice) to 2 (straight dots)
was feeling very bored...(with my husband out of town)...so sat down on the computer and made this rangoli....the design is my creation (obviously inspired by a lot of other rangolis)...
had made this rangoli outside (on the road)...though the design doesn't have any lamps...i love this rangoli a lot so made it...the dots are 27 to 14 (in between dots)...
This is how i had decorated my Marapachi during Kolu 2009...but forgot to post it for the competition ...
Picture of Golu at my place. I love the idea of Golu...have always done it from the time i was a little girl...now being a grown up woman has not changed me even a bit....
