My pongal-pot rangoli for celebrating Pongal. I have used colored sand for the pot, and chalk for the overflow.

Kolam

A simple dotted kolam drawn in pencil.

Here is a beginners Chilli pepper rangoli made using 9x1 dots (interlaced style). This looks more like Jalapeno red peppers. I've used color pencils.

Greens

Here is a dotted rangoli with leaves, for greens in our veggie-patch. Dot count; 15 to 1 (parallel style). I've used color pencils.

A dotted kolam with carrots, from one of our kolam books. I've used color pencils to color the carrots. Hope you like it.

This monster happens to be made of sugar. Made during the middle school years. Surprise, it is still holding up!
