Flu shots

This post mainly concerns the city of San Jose (in California).
I write this post with great disappointment. We have two major Medical groups in our neighborhood; Kaiser and Camino medical group. I recently came to know from my friends (living locally) that Kaiser was able to provide the regular flu shots (or sprays) to their patients, whereas the Camino group is still waiting for it. In the meantime, I heard yesterday that my friend's friend is already sick with Swine flu. We try not to worry, but can't help it.
All of our local schools have organized Swine-flu information meeting, to spread the word about prevention. We would be attending a parent's meeting on coming Tuesday.

We got regular flu shots in the work place. We expect to get the swine flu shots as and when they become available. Even then older people like me will get the least priority
In the meanwhile the county got some limited amount. They are making it available to schools by a lottery system! Looks like life and death issues have become a lottery

I guess the time zone is not the only thing that the west coast is behind in, mOhanaji.![Smile](https://www.ikolam.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)

The following comment is for members living in the bay area (I don't know about other areas).![Smile](https://www.ikolam.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)
Kaiser is providing flu shots for non-members (for a small fee). This is available during the week days; Monday to Friday only. If you call the front desk, you are not going to get any info regarding their services to non-members. We visited Kaiser during the weekend for our flu shots, only to be turned away.![Smile](https://www.ikolam.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)
