Thank you very much sir for the links. The kannada songs were my favourite songs and to the hindi I listened today. Great collection and "Sangeeta Saamratanige bahu dodda namana".

It is very sad to hear the death of national singer Dr.Bimshen Joshi .Three to four yrs back I was invited to attend one of the musical concert organized by Mr. Ajit Mangalvede ,son in law of his student Mr.Madav Gudi (As he is working in our organization) .I met Bimshen Joshi after very long period(As a student I have invited him at UDCT auditorium and really enjoyed and got to sing with him and learnt a lot about combination of Hindustani and karnataki music) .Particularly in this concert he has not sang as his condition was very bad but Mr. Madav Gudi and Joshi’s son were taken the stage .Both of them are equally good as Joshi sir . I and my husband really enjoyed the classical music. People were just shouting once more ,once more .I remember the statement made by Dr. Bimshen Joshiji in the beginning when organizer invited him to stage and requested to tell few words ,which I can’t forget and want to share with u .“whenever I used to attend any function people used to request me to sing at least one song but today they request me to tell only few words” though he was joking it touched my heart. Today we may be very famous for something but what about tomorrow. Unfortunately I have not clicked any photograph with him though Mr. Mangalvede was insisting .Frankly speaking at that time he was in quite bad condition and people were troubling him to have photograph with them in green room. Sharing these memories is only my tribute to him
