Computer scam !

Beware, all internet users! There is a scam going on. People, claiming to be from Microsoft or other famous companies are contacting individuals scaring them that their computers are full of malware infections and they would set them right and urge them to go to their computers and do what they prompt. Last month they faked a telephone number as if it is from our work (ours is a famous national research laboratory) and were contacting individual employees. This week twice they contacted me personally once with an Oregon area code number and today without any number. Not only that, they target individuals. Both the times regrettably a man with an Indian accent talked with me. Do NOT reveal any personal information or do what they say. Inform this particularly to people who are not well versed in computers. Regards! - mOhana
