Here is a rangOli collage from the Telugu movie saptapadi (if you remember, I mentioned this as one of my favourite movies at the time of Valentine's Day). The movie itself can be watched online at http://www.bharatmovies.com/telugu/watch/Saptapadhi-movie-online.htm . Enjoy!

The river you see is kRshNA and the place is amarAvati (the famous buddhist centre). The music and dance are simply superb. This was the first and the only film in which the heroine acted. She was interested in dancing, but not acting. Also she wanted to pursue her studies. Today she is a software engineer or so. The music by KVM is quite different from the usual stuff. The hero and the heroine will exchange their love through the notes (svarAs) of a tyAgarAja kirtana! The photography is simply breathtaking. The rangOlis shown here direct the hero toward the rendezvous.
