EASTER EGG CART- Dharun's first Easter Egg cart, for the Easter Egg Cart race, which was a part of the Easter Celebrations, in Charles Dickens Primary School, London.
He was in his Nursery and won the Most Beautiful Cart Prize for it.
Tanjore painting method is used for creating ornaments etc, but face is according to my style. You can call it a fusion.
The lampshade is yet to be hung and it is made with paper. [Iam a paper specialist you know?]
I cut vegetables to make veg bonda and cut it by order. My daughter-in-law said "ma, it looks like India". I took a snap and posted this to ikolam. The base was my cutting plate. Comments anyone?
On the final day of school, we wanted to give something to the kids. We made a bookmark for each one. Everyone decorated according to their wish. I painted on them. Stuck a printout of their names, attached a tassle to the bookmark, and at last! the bookmarks are ready. It is done on black colour handmade paper.
I don't know why this is called Vasthu mural.
May be because of the swastik, om, kalasam and lakshmi padams are present here.
What ever the name may be I found very interested in doing this mural. This is a wall hanger.

This is the jadai-alangaram. This is a ready made one. Done by jewel-making method. This ready made thing can be attached during any function the special girl immediately. Even during dance dressings, this can be very easily attached with jadai and can be decorated with flowers.
This is done by white stones. Can be done with matching stones according to the dress.
One is full view and another is zoom view.

This is another arthi plate created with the materials used in picture framing used for inviting the newly weds.
I had my 5th birthday party in a place called "Build a bear workshop". It is a place where they help you build your own bear. They provide you with some of the basic materials like the fur, filler-material and bows. It was fun to build our own bears!
Last year, I decided to dress up my bears with different outfits. Finding a pretty outfit for my girl teddy bear was easy, I just took one of my outgrown formal dresses. But for the boy teddy bear, I had to think and come up with a few ideas. Everyone in my family laughed when I showed them my boy teddy bear wearing a rug around him. He had one of my mom's silk blouse borders for a towel over his shoulder. I thought they looked very nice!
What do you think?
This was made out of beads. We can use colourful beads for this. We can also frame this.
