The design for this kolam is from a saree. It's a background design. We can't see that very clearly but still i saw that. I can't believe that i started to see kolam in everything i see now. Thanks to Latha for this. Hope u like this kolam. Ur comments n suggestions pls.

i have seen this design in my cousins place on a table cloth i have drawn on the paper there then came home and next day i tried this on the floor. i have attached source and my kolam .

on 27.12.2009 ( sunday)in THE HINDU PAPER there was a furniture add i have been inspired by that design hence i drew it on floor i have added extra designs also.your viwes pls... i have attached both source as well as my kolam.

The kuzhal kolam which I did last year immediately came to my mind. I remembered I had roughly based it on the ss plate which we use everyday.
