Hai to all...actually did this rangoli for the diwali contest...although d colouring alone took 4hrs...was unable to do d detailed designs inside...so not satisfied..thought to share it anyways with you all now...eagerly waiting for ur views

Hello friends...this was d kolam which i did at d mylapore contest on sunday...due to d wet taar road my already thick strokes got even more thicker...not at all satisfied with d outcome at all...anyways wanted to share with all of u friends...thank u for enjoying this.
A copycat rangoli of an entry of Diwali 2008 contest by Darshamoola, fetched us a prize in our apartment Diwali contest this year. It was a combined effort of myself and my daughter in law Kavitha assisted by both husbands who took care of my grand daughter till we finished it! The bottom circle is the logo of our apartment which cosumed nearly an hour to draw and shade it!
Used materials like kolam powder and colour dyed sands.This rangoli was drawn in free hand and does not have any dots.
