It is a simple dotted kolam ( 10 dots 10 lines.. straight one) Colored with colour kolapodi. Due to Heavy rains , not able to put kolam outside. So tried this kutti kolam in the drawing room.

This was done in our new house warming under the guidance of the Purohit. Only five colors needs to be used representing the PanchaBhoothas.
Dot counts 10 X 10. Outer border freehand, first time used the coffee filter to pour colors. Hence tapping the filter on the floor gives a wavy border.

Straight dots: 10 - 10
Here is a combination of 4 different lamp kolams with the same number of dots.. Small changes make the entire kolam look different. I am sure all of you also can make changes and make new kolams - just try and see...
