This is a dotted podikolam in which I have reused kolapodi which I collected after doing other kolams. Dot count 11 to 6 intermediate. Hope you like it.

Today in Trivandrum, Kumaraswami, Saraswathi Amman and Munnutti Mangai have reached. From tommorrow the navaratri celebrations will start in Trivandrum. There will be Kacheri in Navaratri Mandapam in Padmanabha Swami Temple the coming nine days. These nine days there are nine kritis of Shri Swathi Thirunal Maharaja which will be sung by famous musicians in the kacheri's to follow from tommorrow. This will be telecast by Trivandrum AIR (All India Radio) during the night. All three Gods come from Nagercoil to Trivandrum. These nine days they will be in three temples in Trivandrum and on the 10th day they will return. This is being done for years and years. Full of celebration. I put this kolam as the invitation to these Gods to Trivandrum. Hope you will like the border . This is same kolam only with a small border different.

This is the sticker kolam i have stuck in front of my golu this year. No chance of doing an podi kolam as my son is very naughty and likes to discard every kolam that i make.
Just thought of uploading this as i liked this design. This looks like a SB rangoli - this is my dedication to the all the kolam specialist from ikolam, just for you to enjoy and try if you like this.

This free hand rangoli was done on 24th sept... but i was choose this kolam was cruise theme... there is no time... so today i draw fish, sangu with flowers, how is my creation friends...

this rangoli is made from dust powder which is mixed with dyes. This is drawn by my friend ANANTHALAKSHMI in her home. it is five headed serpant. only limited colours are used in this.mainly yellow and green.
