The hands of God - In the footsteps of annamAchArya

It is quite late now. Still it is never late. annamAchArya's 600th birthday was
celebrated recently with mass singing and we also were blessed to see the rangOli of
SrImati lakshmI and SrImati bhArati. Of course, the song brahma kaDigina pAdamu
is very famous. I always like annamAchArya. He put lot of emphasis on the lyrics
also besides the music. Interestingly he predates purandaradAsa, supposed to be the
pitAmaha of the karNATaka sangIta. There are even stories that the two did meet at
Tirupati. In the song brahma kaDigina pAdamu, the daSAvatAra episodes occur referring
to the Lord's feet. I wrote a song in similar style with the theme as the hand of God
describing the daSAvatAra episodes. Subsequently I learnt that annamAchArya also wrote
a song (more or less similarly) on the hand of God. Here is my song -
