sanskrit language and translation

sanskrit is found to be the first existent language in the section of indo-european languages, and English is just a derived language from primitive German after passing many local languages, which are lost now mostly.
a language scientist by name Grimm found out that sanskrit was used to derive english words. for eg

1] bhrata or pratha = brother
2] madhya = middle
3]dasam = ten
4] pita = father

the sound shifting of /bha/ to b
/dha/ to d
/da/ to t
/p/ to f
these sound shiftings are due to the relation of the people who met because of trade purposes. Hindi, punjabi, marathi languages save the existent sanskrit words. this language of our Epics MAHABHARATHA and RAMAYANA is nowadays translated for common man. the translation can bring only the derived meaning of the slokas but not the real effect.

the slokas of vishnu Sahasranama [Mahabharatha] and Aditya hirudhayam [Ramayana] are truly amazing tributes of sanskrit language, when spelt it invokes God, invites him to shower blessings. but the translated regional slokas are explanatory to a reader, hence it lacks the effect of original language.

To suffice our longing the great writer Rajagopalachari wrote a song in praise of God Kannan "kurai ondrum illai kanna". its a piece of true devotion in native language, added if heard in the voice of the legend M.S.SUBBULAKSHMI. till date no other song has come to replace it. my request to ikolamites is to post their own favourites in native language which joins this list.
