You now have the option to notify us if you would like us to announce your birthday in the ikolam site. Please navigate to "My account" from the menu options (at right) and go to the "Personal" section. You'll find a checkbox next to the "Allow ikolam to announce your birthday in the site" option. If you would like me to announce your birth day, click the box, otherwise just leave it blank. If you choose to let ikolam announce your b'day in the site, we'll only announce the birth day and month, and not the year (not unless you insist).

I'm sure our madam will encourage all of us to go check the box!

Personally, I think I am going to do both; check the box to announce my b'day to one and all in the site, and then follow it up by spamming members, in case they all get busy and forget to wish me! :0

Actually, why wouldn't you? When a person doesn't look her or his own age, one wouldn't mind mentioning the age too, right Judy?
Radha, sorry for being able to add this option now and not earlier. If this had been done a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have missed your b'day.

No Lata - what is there to hide?? Personally I dont like it when people hide their age because they feel bad about growing old. Actually you age gracefully when you accept your age - atleast that's what I feel..
