Happy Mother's Day!

My Gallery
You're the sun that illumines my mind's firmament
You're the moon whose soft beams bathe me tenderly
You're the star of my eyes and the light of my life
You're my humble, but proud gift to the world forever
When you became my child, I became your mother
When you cried, part of me cried
When you laughed, part of me laughed
When you began to grow, I too began to grow
I gave my life and love to you
I gave my heart and mind to you
I don't want any thing in return
Already you gave me enough
When you are as old as I am today
I'll still be your mother as I am now
Go straight, be gentle and love all
May you live long, may you love long!

Wonderful poem Mohanaji! And the kolams are very pretty. Motherhood (தாய்மை) is not a post or relationship but it is a feeling from anybody towards anybody, (even between a husband and wife). Thanks for your wishes.
